Abstract: This research examines the impact of community libraries on adult education, focusing on how access to library resources and services enhances learning outcomes for adult learners. The study aimed to evaluate the role of community libraries in supporting adult education, to identify key resources and services utilized by adult learners, and to assess the challenges faced in accessing library services. A survey research design was chosen to collect data from adult learners who frequently use community libraries, providing detailed insights into their experiences. A sample size of 300 adult learners was selected for this study. The purposive sampling technique was employed to target individuals who actively use community library resources. The case study was conducted in Delta, Nigeria, where community libraries play a crucial role in supporting adult education. Findings revealed that community libraries significantly enhanced learning outcomes, with participants reporting improved access to educational materials and support services. However, challenges such as limited library hours and insufficient resources were identified. The study recommended extending library hours and increasing funding for community libraries to better support adult learners.
